I am a service designer, researcher and visual communicator. I am passionate about using creative methods to enable meaningful participation of the community in the design and delivery of public services.

I want to see a world in which individuals collaborate towards better outcomes. And I want to be part of this collaborative process.

The systems of support around us are complicated and constantly evolving. Sometimes they are not helping those they are trying to help.

I’ve worked with people who care about those around them and are willing to create opportunities that have a positive impact in their lives. Whether that’s their employees, colleagues, service users, families or friends. By caring I mean ‘helping them to be healthy, fulfilled and happy’.

I work with people who want to continuously improve the local support system (and the services they deliver) based on the needs of people who receive and deliver services.

For the last 10 years, I have worked closely with clients to develop and embed an approach to undertake change projects through the use of human-centred design and participatory methods and practices. I have led design projects where, through research, observation and co-creation, we have discovered insights that have led to meaningful solutions and positive impact.

Project teams have successfully improved local services, built strong relationships within their teams and partners and developed skills on design methodologies.

I am from Catalonia, and live in Brighton. I have international experience in various sectors including health and social care, culture and education. Having lived in France, Scotland and England, I have a passion for understanding different cultures and ways of doing things.

Previous to setting up my service design studio, I worked for four years at the Innovation Unit, a social enterprise committed to social impact based in London. In my home town Barcelona, I worked at fuelfor, a design studio specialised in healthcare innovation.

I care about belonging, relationships, nature and creativity. I have my heart split in two places I call home: England and Catalonia. I speak in Catalan to my daughters and in English to my partner and to my dog. I love living by the sea, even if I don't swim in it because it's too cold for me.
