Human-centred design to help organisations deliver better services.

 

I work to respond to social challenges, aiming to get better outcomes for people, with the help of a human-centred design approach. I involve service users and members of staff in everything I do. I create teams where everyone can contribute and collaborate. I bring creativity to make it fun. 

Clients come to me with an ambition for better outcomes. Behind this, tends to be a problem they have identified and a set of specific needs. I work in close collaboration with my clients to understand their motivation for change and together design a specific process that works in their context.

I offer a disciplined human-centred design approach to better understand the problem, identify the unmet needs of people receiving and delivering the service and come up with solutions and strategies that help meet the needs identified in the process.

I can help you by guiding your team through human-centred design. We will together do research, co-design and prototyping. Along the way, visual design and communication will help us to have a shared understanding.

User research: Engaging with people in a meaningful way to fully understand their lives and behaviours in context.

UNDERSTAND

Synthesis & analysis: Making sense of data to discover what opportunities and implications will inspire our design solutions.

SHARE

Visual communication: Making information accessible for everyone to have a shared understanding, instigate reflection and generate appetite for change and improvement. 

CREATE

Ideation & prototyping: Creative process of generating, developing and communicating new ideas in multidisciplinary groups including designers, stakeholders, users and specialists.
