Co-designing solutions for youth long-term unemployment in Southwark
Southwark Council convened key local employment support partners A4E, CDG and JobCentre Plus to work together to identify a range of new support approaches for young people to meet the borough’s challenges of a rise in long-term youth unemployment.
Through co-design, working with over 20 young people who have been supported by both the Work Programme and JobCentre Plus to understand their experience and ideas for better support.
The learning generated during the sessions was captured in a report designed to be used as a practical and generative tool to help ongoing service development and redesign.
